Coming This Week -- April 7 to April 13

At Tony Saliba's Workshop, There Is Now Another Chair...For Goran Yordanoff!

You may have heard that Goran Yordanoff has announced that he will be attending Tony Saliba's Seminar in Chicago April 20 to 22...

When Tony starts talking Saturday morning, Goran will be staring straight ahead -- seated beside Kevin Haggerty, Larry Connors and Dave Landry

There is a very good reason for this...

No one else can do what Tony can in the markets. No one else pulls the kind of maximum consistent returns with the smallest conceivable risk like Tony can.

They all want what Tony's has.

Spend this special once-in-a-lifetime weekend with Tony Saliba -- and other hardcore traders like Kevin, Larry, Dave and Goran -- and you'll learn exactly how he does it at Tony Saliba's workshop. Just two more weeks to go and the seats are going fast. Register today!

Want To Join Kevin Haggerty On A Search-And-Destroy Mission?
Join Him As He Hunts Down The Big Market Reversals

"Marianne...I haven't seen anything like these before. These look like the heads up display of an F-16 fighter jet!"

That was my reaction when I saw the charts that Kevin Haggerty was having Marianne, our chief copy editor, create for his new trading lesson "Entry Patterns At Alert Zones." I pulled the unedited version off Marianne's desk...she had to wrench it away from me next day because I was still studying it. Kevin's lesson is that good.

Read (and re-read) Kevin's lesson if you want to know how to identify patterns where major reversals are likely to happen. I doubt that very many traders will have been exposed to the unique combination of reversal strategies Kevin talks about, including:

  • Pullbacks to moving averages
  • Support and resistance Fibonacci Extensions and Retracements
  • Trap doors
  • Volatility bands
  • Candlesticks
  • Reversal patterns

It's all there in Kevin's own words along with some of the most meticulously detailed charts I've seen. You'll want to print them out on a color printer and use them as models when you trade. Plus, Kevin tells you what goes through his mind when he spots these patterns developing. Think the way Kevin thinks and it'll eventually becoming a part of you when you look at charts in the future.

One final word. The practical knowledge you get in Kevin Haggerty's new lesson is powerful. But it's a small fraction of the practical trading knowledge that Kevin applies every day. Want it all? Check out Kevin's "Trading With The Generals" Video Course at TradersGalleria.com.

Three new traders are coming to TradingMarkets.com within the next two weeks. Wanna know who they are? I'll give you a hint for now. One is a swing-trader. One an intermediate-term trader. The third? I'll tell you more next week.

Besides Live Chats and Message Boards...

We've got a new "Trade Of The Week" From Dave Landry: Dave will take you straight into his head on a short sale he did on Dean Witter earlier in the week. Have you always wondered what books have been most instrumental in the success of our TradingMarkets contributors? Check our "Best of the Best." In coming weeks, watch for new "Geniuses of the Day," more "informative" polls, and a look into "A Day In The Life" Of Gary Kaltbaum, Jeff Cooper, and others, all on TradingMarkets World.

My suggestion of the week? Listen to Larry Connors' interview of Tony Saliba if you haven't already. When you do, it'll be obvious why Kevin, Larry, Dave and Goran are going to Tony's upcoming workshop.

There must must be a reason that both Kevin Haggerty and Goran Yordanoff use candlestick charts. Could it be that candlesticks give you important information that standard bar charts cannot? Expert candlestick user Tsutae Kamada shows you real working strategies you can put to use right away using the TradingMarkets.com Indicators page in his lesson "Pinpointing Buys and Sells Using The TradingMarkets Indicator Page And Candlestick Patterns" The objective? To nail down exact entries off the pullbacks and momentum driving stocks. You won't need to worry about memorizing obscure names. Just go to the Indicators Page and look for Kamada's favorite patterns in the Proprietary Momentum List, the Pullback List, and others.

Back To Basics With Brice. Are you new to trading and confused by all the terminology? Are you a veteran, but embarrassed because you still confuse the terms "bid" and "ask"? The solution is is to read Brice Wightman's new lesson "Bid and Ask De-Mystified." He'll give you an overview of all the concepts you need to know when you buy and sell stocks. Besides "bid" and "ask," you'll also learn about "size," "spread," and market makers. Learn these concepts and level the playing field.

Ready to ride a big surge? Check out the whisper numbers. Daniel Beighley will show you why he, as a veteran trader, follows whisper numbers in his lesson this week "Using Whisper Numbers In Combination With Price And Volume Patterns
." Properly used, they can give you an edge in narrowing down your list of buy or sell candidates to the few that may potentially be poised for a big move when earnings are announced. Best of all, they give an objective way of forming a directional bias. Daniel will explain when whisper numbers portend a surprise and the different kinds of trading strategies which can help you to ride the surge.

In addition to the Trading Lessons described above, please see our latest Trading Advisor. As always, if you'd like your trading questions answered, please send them to questions@tradingmarkets.com. Send any suggestions, recommendations and other input to suggestions@tradingmarkets.com.
