Here are 7 options for option traders for Friday:

Medtronic (MDT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) August and September calls were active. The stock closed at 44.51 and the September  45 calls (MDT II) closed at 1.40 - 1.50.

International Rectifier (IRF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) September 35 calls were active. The stock closed at 35.95 and the September 35 calls (IRF IG) closed at 2.35 - 2.45.

Nokia (NOK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) September 22 1/2 calls were active. The stock closed at 21.29 and the September 22 1/2 calls (NAY IX) closed at 0.25 - 0.30.

National Semiconductor (NSM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) had a high put/call volume ratio. The stock closed at 23.70 and the September 25 puts (NSM UE) closed at 2.05 - 2.15.

D.R. Horton (DHI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) also had a high put/call volume ratio. The stock closed at 21.80 and the September 20 puts (DHI UD) closed at 0.45 - 0.50.

Carnival (CCL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) broke to the upside. The stock closed at 39.78 and the September 40 calls (CCL IH) closed at 1.10 - 1.20.

Merck (MRK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) broke to the downside. The stock closed at 38.83 and the September 40 puts (MRK UH) closed at 1.95 - 2.00.
