On May 30, 2007, SMTC jumped 11.5% in the evening hours after reporting ahead of the Street with Q1 results and guiding higher. The gain was a slightly slimmer 9.1% the next day.
On March 8, 2007, the stock eased 0.2% in the extended-hours session after missing with sales and guiding lower for sales. The issue rebounded to gain 1.8% the next day.
